How does Tappjet work?
Tappjet is a charter broker and technology platform that helps members request private charters and share the cost of full aircraft flights operated by licensed air carriers. Members can organize their own trips, invite others to join and recover part of their charter costs when additional travellers share the flight.

Tappjet simplifies the process of arranging and paying for private charters. Once you see your options, you can choose:
Fully private
Charter the entire aircraft for your own group. No other members are invited to join unless you later choose to share the trip.Shared charter
Charter the aircraft and open your trip to other Tappjet members who may want to join and share the cost. As more members join your charter, your share of the total charter price can be reduced.Join an existing charter
Browse trips that other members have opened for cost sharing. When you join, you agree to pay your share of the total charter price for that flight, which has been arranged with a licensed operator by the lead charterer. Tappjet coordinates payments on behalf of the chartering member and does not operate the flight. -
After you authorize a deposit or pre authorization, a Tappjet Trip Advisor will request an operational feasibility check and a firm quote from the selected charter operator. Once the operator confirms availability and the charter agreement is accepted by the lead charterer, we will lock in the trip details and send the final itinerary and documents to you by email.

If you started a shared charter, you can invite additional members to join your trip through the app so they can contribute to the cost of the charter. For trips that begin as fully private, you can choose later to open your charter to other members, subject to the operator’s approval and the terms of your charter agreement. This gives you flexibility to adjust how you share costs without changing who is operating the flight.
For those who initially booked a private flight and are considering opening up seats later, you can opt to share your flight at any time by adjusting your booking through the "My Bookings" feature in our app, or simply by informing your Tappjet Trip Advisor. This flexibility allows you to adapt your travel plans to changing needs or preferences, ensuring a seamless and accommodating experience.
